These maps are available at different scales and cover the period between the mid 1800s and 1995. They are suitable either for research into your local area, street, property, industry or family. We distinguish between two different series of historical mapping, Series A, covering the years between 1850 and 1940 and Series B, for surveys between 1947 and 1995, after the introduction of the National Grid System.
